Spanish Movie Night!

For the first time since being in Barcelona, I went to the movies.

API organizes events throughout the semester and one of the events was “Spanish Movie Night.” We met Marta, one of the API directors at the Fontana metro stop and walked to Cine Bosque to watch “Vivir Es Fácil Con Los Ojos Cerrados” (living is easy with your eyes closed). The movie took place in Spain and was basically about a Spanish teacher who taught English who is trying to meet John Lennon. Throughout the movie, he encounters a young lady who’s 3 months pregnant and a young boy who has run away from home. Both of the teenagers build a bond with him as they join him on his trip to meet the famous Beatle. Overall, it was a great movie, I really enjoyed it.
