This weekend, API took us to Seville (Sevilla) and Cádiz for another excursion, and it was amazing! Luckily, I woke up early and didn't miss my bus to the airport like last time. We departed from Barcelona at about 10 a.m. and arrived in Sevilla about a hour later, where we took a bus to our hotel, Don Paco. We freshened up, had lunch and prepared ourselves for the panoramic tour around the beautiful city. At 3 p.m. everyone met in the lobby of the hotel to head out. We visited the Cathedral of Sevilla, which is the largest Gothic cathedral and the third largest church in the world. It was literally mind-blowing, my mouth dropped as soon as I entered. The Cathedral of Sevilla is beyond beautiful! After the cathedral, we took a tour of the Real Alcázares, which is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. Once the tour was over, the UB girl decided to go visit the Plaza de España, definitely another beautiful building. We ended our day with dinner at a popular tapas spot then headed back to the hotel to rest up for our day trip in Cádiz the following day.

Early in the morning the next day, we left for
Cádiz. The bus ride from Sevilla to Cádiz was about a hour and 1/2 and we arrived at about 10:30 a.m. Once there, we had a guided tour through the city. It was such a nice day, the sun was out and the temperature was about 70 degrees F. The first place we went to in Cádiz was it's Plaza de España.

After, we just walked through the streets with our tour guide until 4:30 p.m. After the tour, we grabbed lunch and spent the rest of the day at Playa Santa Maria del Mar to soak up the sun. We arrived back in Sevilla at about 6 p.m. headed to dinner and then experienced the night life.

The next day, we had to be at the lobby at 2:00 pm to head to the airport and then depart to Barcelona. Since we didn't have that much time, after breakfast the girls and I went walking through the city and saw the outside of Sevilla's bull fighting arena. At 2:30, we left to the airport, departed Sevilla and arrived in Barcelona at about 7 p.m. The weekend in Sevilla was the perfect getaway, now I cannot wait for Morocco this upcoming weekend!
