Zoo/Flamenco Show!

Barcelona Zoo

Since my Spanish class was cancelled today, my friend Michelle and I took advantage of a free day and decided to go on an adventure. We ended up going to the Barcelona Zoo! We saw zebras, giraffes, gorillas and other monkeys, different types of birds, lions, a tiger, a cheetah, a black jaguar, a rhino, hyenas, wolves, elephants, flamingos, seals, penguins, brown bears, hippos, basically any wildlife animal you can think of, we saw. I absolutely loved it and for 20 euros, I think it was worth it. It is definitely better than Roger Williams Zoo back in Providence.

Flamenco
At night, API had another event planned for us and it was to attend a flamenco show. I’ve never seen a flamenco show, so I was very excited. The show only lasted about half an hour but it was amazing! There was two female dancers, two female singers and two guys, one on the guitar and the other on the congas. I came out of the bar feeling like the penguin from "Happy Feet", moving my feet and trying to dance like them. I was amazed and very impressed by their dancing, it seems very difficult. Even though, this was my first flamenco show, it’s not going to be my last.
